Meet Gary Bong, M.D.
With his compassionate approach and excellent surgical expertise, Gary Bong, M.D., is a well-respected member of the CSUA: Woodmen team, serving the Colorado Springs, Colorado community. He specializes in laparoscopic surgeries, including laparoscopic cryotherapy for kidney cancer as well as daVinci® robotic surgery for prostatectomy and cystectomy procedures.
Dr. Bong attended medical school at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia. Following graduation, he completed his general surgery internship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina, earning the distinction of being recognized as Intern of the Year. He then completed his residency training in urology at the Medical University of South Carolina, with an emphasis on minimally invasive oncologic surgery.
In addition to working with CSUA: Woodmen, Dr. Bong is the Chief of Robotic Urologic Surgery at St. Francis Medical Center in Colorado Springs. He is dedicated to providing his patients with the best surgical urologic care possible.
